• 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday & 8am - 12pm on Friday

This class is a step-by-step guide on how to find and work with individual clients in the world of artistic blacksmithing. Featured topics will be how to persuade clients to choose designs that appeal to the crafts person, how to price it, and how to make it impressive yet cost-effective. Students will work as a team building a fire screen project as well as individual elements and test pieces to take home. The class is designed for all levels. This is an opportunity to work with a world-class Russian Master Smith that should not be missed.

Artem Marshak was a featured demonstrator in the recent ABANA 50th Anniversary Conference earlier this year where he produced a 16' sculpture. Artem is one of the most famous metal artists in Russia, and his works are known and appreciated all over the world. He has taken part in more than 65 art exhibitions, including international ones, and participated in more than 50 forging and artistic regional and international festivals. Artem has won more than 15 professional and artistic competitions and has served as a judge at art exhibitions and festivals.

Tuition: $665, all tools, materials, and fuels included.
