About:

Come to the Virginia Institute of Blacksmithing for an introduction to the art of traditional stone carving! In two hours, you will learn how to handle the three basic tools, make a letter, and carve a simple relief sculpture. No experience necessary! All tools and stone provided. Just show up wearing closed-toed shoes and with a desire to learn! Students will go home with a carved stone and a foundation in how to practice this timeless art.

Class Cost: $125

Price at check-out is class tuition plus $15 booking fee.

Call to make any changes to your registration. Transfers and cancellations must be made more than 14 days before class in order to receive a refund. There is a $75 fee for any transfer, cancellation, or refund.
