About

This is a great Introduction to Artistic Blacksmithing. You will make a simple Ivy leaf to a more complex acanthus leaf, plus simple split pineapple and laddered twists. Students will learn how to make decorative implements in steel. Class will culminate with the making of a Russian Rose. This class is suitable for the novice through the intermediate student. This is a great class to couple with the Floral Forms course in order to create unique gifts and treasures.

Class includes safe shop practices, fire management, efficient hammer techniques and basic forging. All safety equipment and materials provided.

Please Note: A parent, guardian or responsible adult must be on site for students under 18 years of age for the duration of the class. Adults accompanying minors do not have to take the class, but they are welcome to if they wish.

Class Cost:

Price at check out is class tuition plus $15 booking fee.

Call to make any changes to your registration. Transfers and cancellations must be made more than 14 days before class in order to receive a refund. There is a $75 fee for any transfer, cancellation, or refund.
